Welcome Back Students!

College is a wonderful time but can be stressful as well.  Transitions can be hard and you are undoubtedly going to be faced with many difficult decisions during your time as a student.  Am I in right major?  How do I balance all of my responsibilities with school?  How can I get myself on the right track academically?  Fortunately, the answer to these questions is little easier and a lot closer than you think; the answer is Academic Support Services and the Cater Center for Academic Counseling and Advising!

The Cater Center for Academic Counseling and Advising provides many services to assist you throughout your college experience.  Offering a one-stop shop, our staff is ready to give you the tools you need to make some of those hard decisions a little easier.  We do this through tailoring services such as academic advising, career advising, academic support, academic coaching and counseling to your academic and personal needs.  Located in Cater Hall, we invite you to stop in and see first-hand how we can help you.  Students are encouraged to walk-in!

First-Year students are often overwhelmed by academic challenges. I encourage you to take advantage of tutoring services that are available to you and FREE of charge. Study Partners and Supplemental Instruction are available on the bottom floor of the Library, room 176. Visit the web for more information!

War Eagle and let Educational Support Services be a part of your freshmen year!
