Dr. Patricia Duffy

Dr. Duffy joined the faculty of Auburn University in 1985.  She was awarded an Alumni Professorship in 2006.  For the past two years, she served as the Undergraduate Program Coordinator in her home department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology in the College of Agriculture. Her service to the University includes a term as Secretary of the University Senate, as Chair of the Student Academic Grievance Committee, and as a member of the College of Agriculture Diversity Committee, the AU Faculty Handbook Committee, and the Core Curriculum Oversight Committee.

 In her current role as Assistant Provost, Dr. Duffy will work part-time in the Undergraduate Studies Office and provide leadership to the Special Lectures Committee and the development of Interdisciplinary Program Initiatives.  The remainder of her time will be spent as a faculty member in her home department.  Dr Duffy lives in Opelika with her husband and daughter, currently a freshman at Auburn.
