Welcome to Auburn University's Student Counseling Services. SCS is the primary counseling center for the Auburn University student community to talk through their personal problems and concerns. We are located on the second floor of the Auburn University Medical Clinic.
Your college years are a time of tremendous excitement and potential, but they can also be demanding and stressful. There are academic responsibilities, as well as the tasks of establishing a greater sense of identity, moving toward increased independence, and developing meaningful relationships. SCS can help you deal with these issues when they become overwhelming.
The staff at SCS is comprised of experienced, caring, licensed mental health professionals including psychologists, counselors, and consulting psychiatrists.
SCS is strongly committed to diversity, and our staff welcomes all students. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive and affirming climate for individuals of all races, ethnicities, national origins, genders, gender identities, sexual orientations, religions, ages, abilities, sizes, socioeconomic statuses, languages, and cultures.
We hope you find our website helpful. Please feel free to call Student Counseling Services if you have any further questions or concerns.
