Peer Career Advisors (PCAs) assist the Auburn University Career Center office in reaching out, educating and advising Auburn students on resources through one-on-one interactions and group presentations.
PCAs are trained to help students with the following:
Thank you for your interest in working with the Auburn University Career Center, as Peer Career Advisor. Peer Career Advisors (PCAs) play a valuable and important role within our office. PCAs meet with students during walk-in hours and are trained in resume and cover letter review and critique, major exploration resources and job search strategies. Students selected for this group can expect to handle the following responsibilities:
PCAs are compensated hourly with 1st year advisors earning $7.25 per hour. Additionally, they benefit from priority registration, employer networking and the ability to hone valuable workplace skills and abilities.
