Peer Career Advisors

Peer Career Advisors (PCAs) assist the Auburn University Career Center to reach out, educate and advise Auburn students on resources through one-on-one interactions and group presentations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Advise students on career exploration resources and job search strategies
  • Review resumes and cover letters face-to-face and on-line
  • Network with local and national recruiters
  • Direct and refer students to relevant resources and/or career counselors
  • Contribute to blog and other social media
  • Assist with administrative duties

REQUIREMENTS

  • Undergraduate student at Auburn University who have completed at least 2 semesters at Auburn
  • GPA: 3.0 or above
  • Demonstrated strong communication (written and verbal)
  • Self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to commit to five (5) hours of work/week
  • One letter of recommendation sent as an attachment to meaghan@auburn.edu
