Peer Career Advisors (PCAs) assist the Auburn University Career Center to reach out, educate and advise Auburn students on resources through one-on-one interactions and group presentations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Advise students on career exploration resources and job search strategies
- Review resumes and cover letters face-to-face and on-line
- Network with local and national recruiters
- Direct and refer students to relevant resources and/or career counselors
- Contribute to blog and other social media
- Assist with administrative duties
REQUIREMENTS
- Undergraduate student at Auburn University who have completed at least 2 semesters at Auburn
- GPA: 3.0 or above
- Demonstrated strong communication (written and verbal)
- Self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills
- Able to commit to five (5) hours of work/week
- One letter of recommendation sent as an attachment to meaghan@auburn.edu
