What is SI?

  • It is regularly scheduled, collaborative, peer directed review sessions.
  • The review sessions are lead by SI leaders who attend and take notes in these classes.

What's an SI leader?

  • They'll be in class with you every day, hearing what you hear and reading what you read.
  • SI leaders are selected by the professors and trained by Academic Support staff.
  • Your SI leader made at least a "B" in the course and they have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.

When do SI review sessions start?

  • Session times will be announced in class.
  • You can attend all or none. . . it's all up to you.
  • You can click on the Semester Schedule Link to view all the SI session, rooms, and times.

What's in it for me?

  • Quite simply, if you go to SI on a regular basis you will get a better grade.
  • SI at Auburn has been proven to increase the test grades of those students who attend regularly by a half to a whole letter grade. In other words, attending SI regularly may add as much as 10 points to your test grades!!
