Welcome to the Auburn University Interdisciplinary University Studies Degree!
The Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary University Studies, offered through the Office of Undergraduate Studies, allows students to attain a broad education and acquire diverse skill sets unique to a profession they desire. Students seeking an Interdisciplinary University Studies Degree have the opportunity to create a personalized academic program. Students are allowed to customize a curriculum that demonstrates proficiency in broad skills as well as discipline-specific knowledge.
Important Information for Interdisciplinary Studies Prospective and Current Students:
Students who wish to apply for admission to the IDSC program must turn in their IDSC application materials to Room 113 in Cater Hall. To apply you must either be currently enrolled in IDSC 2190 or have completed IDSC 2190 with a grade of “C” or better. The application materials must include ALL of the following to be considered for admission:
Capstone Information—Summer or Fall 2015
Current IDSC students who plan to complete their Capstone class during Summer 2015 or Fall 2015 MUST attend a mandatory Capstone Orientation Meeting in January 2015. You must attend one meeting to be selected from:
