Welcome to the Auburn University Interdisciplinary University Studies Degree!
The Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary University Studies, offered through the Office of Undergraduate Studies, allows students to attain a broad education and acquire diverse skill sets unique to a profession they desire. Students seeking an Interdisciplinary University Studies Degree have the opportunity to create a personalized academic program. Students are allowed to customize a curriculum that demonstrates proficiency in broad skills as well as discipline-specific knowledge.
Important Update for Interdisciplinary Studies Prospective and Current Students:
Students who wish to apply for admission to the IDSC program must turn in their IDSC application materials to Room 113 in Cater Hall by Friday, November 30, 2012 at 4:30pm, in order to be considered as an IDSC program student for Spring 2013. The application materials must include ALL of the following to be considered for admission:
Current IDSC students who plan to complete their Capstone experience during Spring 2013, MUST turn in their Capstone Syllabus and Signed Capstone Approval Sheet by Friday, November 30, 2012 at 4:30pm, in order to be enrolled in the UNIV 4930/4980 Capstone course for Spring 2013. Only complete materials will be considered.
