Leading a Balanced Life

The 6th Annual Women’s Leadership Conference, “Leading a Balanced Life” will be held on Friday, February 24, 2012, at The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center. The conference is hosted by the Auburn University Women’s Resource Center, a division of the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs.  Registration for the conference will begin at 8:30am on Friday and the conference will conclude at 3:00pm. This year’s conference will include a keynote presentation given by Dr. Amber Paulk and her husband, Dr. Ryan Zayac, on “Falling in Love and Staying in Love, While Pursuing a Career”.  Dr. Paulk, a Certified Child Life Educator, and Dr. Zayac, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, are both Auburn University Alums and are now faculty members at the University of North Alabama.  We are also honored to have Alexis Jones, founder of the women empowerment non-profit organization, “i am that girl,” as the luncheon keynote speaker. Alexis is an internationally recognized motivational speaker and advocate for women’s issues. There will also be numerous workshops designed to further the personal growth and development of women leaders. Workshop topics include: health, financial independence, finding your passion, stress management, relationships, defining success, navigating social media, community engagement, and education. 


Registration for the 2012 WLC Leading a Balanced Life has closed.
