Provost Leadership Undergraduate Scholarship (PLUS) Program
The PLUS program has been instituted to increase diversity among the undergraduate student population at Auburn University. The PLUS program assists participants financially by providing them a $2,000 scholarship per academic year renewable up to 3 years, and supports them academically and socially to ensure that they succeed at Auburn University. This program has been developed to complement goals of the Auburn University Strategic Diversity Plan.

President's Graduate Opportunity Program (PGOP)
The purpose of the PGOP is to recruit, retain, and support African-American students engaged in graduate study leading to a doctoral degree from Auburn University. Successful applicants will receive a $10,000 PGOP Fellowship in addition to a stipend of the minimum amount set by the Provost's Office for 25% FTE each year.
SREB Doctoral Scholars Program
The program particularly encourages applicants who seek a Ph.D. in a field with low minority representation (science, mathematics, engineering, and science or math education). Applicants must plan to become full-time faculty members upon completion of their doctoral program. Each student must be admitted into at least one approved Ph.D. program before becoming eligible to apply to our program.
SREB Program Highlights at Auburn
Ceddrick C. Mack Beacon Memorial Leadership Scholarship
This scholarship is aimed at incoming freshman students who have exemplified distinct leadership involvement prior to his/her collegiate career as assessed by the scholarship application. The SGA Beacon Leadership Scholarship Committee will submit nominations to the University Scholars Program for review. No less than 2 (two) scholarships shall be awarded each year by this fund, with preference that fifty percent of these scholarships be awarded to underrepresented minorities of Auburn University.
GEM Fellowship Program
The GEM Fellowship programs are designed to offer opportunities for underrepresented minority students to obtain MS degrees in engineering and Ph.D. degrees in engineering and the natural and physical sciences through a program of paid summer internships and graduate financial assistance.
Auburn University Scholarships In addition to awarding Freshman Scholarships, Transfer Scholarships, and General Scholarships, the University Scholarship Office processes Departmental Scholarships and External Scholarships. To ensure maximum consideration for scholarships, it is imperative that students are knowledgeable of the specific requirements and deadlines associated with all scholarships awarded.
