With more than 20 years of experience working at Auburn, Tammy Mayo currently serves as the administrator for academic affairs in the Office of Academic Effectiveness. Mayo first joined the provost’s office in 2005 as an administrative support specialist and later served as the executive assistant to the provost for six years before becoming the assistant to Auburn’s president in 2017. In her role as administrator for academic affairs, Mayo is responsible for the administration of the Student Academic Honesty Code, coordinates the administrator review process, and provides support to the university’s curriculum processes and the Senate Lectures Committee. Working with the assistant provost for academic effectiveness, Mayo also works to coordinate the institution’s faculty awards program.

Mayo is a 2013 Auburn graduate with a bachelor’s in interdisciplinary studies. She lives in Auburn with her husband and two sons.
