Director, Academic Quality and Improvement

As the Director of Academic Quality and Improvement, Dr. Megan Rodgers Good serves as Auburn University’s liaison to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, or SACSCOC, the institution’s regional accrediting body. Good also oversees the institution’s academic program submissions to the Alabama Commission on Higher Education and serves on the state-wide Articulation and General Studies Committee. Building on her experience with academic program assessment, Good also facilitates the Academic Program Review process on behalf of the Provost. 

Good joined Auburn in 2015 as the first Director of the Office of Academic Assessment. In this role, Good led and managed the institution’s academic assessment processes while advancing the university’s efforts to achieve continuous improvement of student learning. As a result of her team’s efforts, Auburn received the Excellence in Assessment designation from the National Institute for Learning Outcomes Assessment in fall 2019.

Good holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Berea College, a master’s degree in psychological sciences from James Madison University, and a PhD in assessment and measurement from James Madison University. She lives in Auburn with her husband and two children.
