The son of an Auburn University professor, Aleem Ahmed spent many of his early days on campus, even attending kindergarten at the Early Learning Center across from the Haley Center. Now a junior in Aerospace Engineering, he is avidly pursuing research on the subsonic performance of slender hypersonic vehicles and can often be found working in Auburn University’s wind tunnel laboratory. Outside of the academic world, Aleem enjoys many hobbies including woodworking, running, and most notably photography—he has photographed weddings, football games, and even taken aerial photos of the final rolling of the Toomer’s Oaks.
