AUBURN UNIVERSITY, Ala. – Scholarships are an important component to a student’s success in school. The alumni and friends of the Harrison School of Pharmacy recognize that as well and recently awarded scholarships to nearly 200 recipients.

At the annual Scholarship Recognition Ceremony on Sept. 25, the school was proud to give out more than $300,000 in scholarships to its students. Several scholarship donors attended the dual ceremony on the Auburn and Mobile campuses, including Joe A. Dalton, Class of 1982, who served as the keynote speaker.

“It is an honor to present these awards to students who have excelled in the class room and are some of the most outstanding students in the country,” said Dean R. Lee Evans. “We are very appreciative to our very generous alumni and friends who have contributed to these scholarships and allow us to recognize these outstanding students.”

The scholarship program would not be possible without the gracious contributions made by Harrison School of Pharmacy alumni and friends. For more information on how you can make your contribution to future students’ success, visit or contact Kori Caldwell at
