Leslie Beech joined the Harrison School of Pharmacy as its Development Coordinator in June of 2015. She holds two degrees from Auburn, Communication and Public Administration, and an M.B.A. from Oklahoma. As the Development Coordinator, Beech will be responsible for planning development officer travel, gift processing, event planning, football ticket and parking coordination, and will serve as the Alabama Pharmacy Alumni Association liaison.

A native of Chatom, Alabama, Leslie is the daughter of a pair of Harrison School of Pharmacy graduates. Her father, the late Wayne Beech, graduated in 1976 while her mother, Elaine Hill Beech, graduated in 1983. The family owned and operated B&F Drugs in Chatom until 2003.

Prior to joining the HSOP Development Team, Beech served as a Development Coordinator for the Auburn Fund where she helped coordinate efforts of the Auburn University Foundation Annual Giving program through various channels including direct mail, email solicitations, and the Auburn Fund Phonathon program.

After graduating from Oklahoma, Beech spent time in New York City where she enjoyed a great deal of exposure to high profile clients and events with the New York Mets and Rubenstein Communications.

With the Mets, Beech gained valuable experience in Corporate Sales and Partnership Servicing as she worked hand-in-hand with executives and team personnel to sell and execute contracts that were mutually beneficial for both the client and the team. In that role, she worked with teams sponsors like Delta, Citi, and Xerox.

After her time with the Mets, Beech entered the world of Public Relations, working for Rubenstein Communications. She was directly involved in press monitoring, pitching news releases, and staffing high-profile events for an array of clients including the NY/NJ Super Bowl Host Committee, Major League Baseball, TIME Magazine, and the Metropolitan Opera.
