Education:

Kaitlin Alexander, Pharm.D. is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy. She is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. Dr. Alexander joined the Auburn faculty in August 2014 and practices with the Trauma/Surgery ICU team at the University of South Alabama Medical Center in Mobile, Alabama.

Dr. Alexander graduated from the University of Florida with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree (Summa Cum Laude) in 2012. She then completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at West Virginia University Healthcare, followed by a PGY-2 Residency specializing in critical care at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

Dr. Alexander is an active member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM), the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP). Her professional interests, include: the management of pain, agitation and delirium in the ICU, infectious diseases, and traumatic brain injury.
