Overview
Teresa Gore received her undergraduate degree in Nursing from Jacksonville State University and served as Alabama Association of Nursing Students President for 1986-1987. She is currently pursuing admission into a Doctorate of Nursing Practice. Gore is active in ALAPAN and has presented multiple podium presentations and one poster presentation at the state conference since 2003.

Gore joined the AU faculty in August 2005 and currently serves as an assistant clinical nursing professor. She teaches courses across the curriculum that focus on assessment, cardiac, respiratory, and surgical concepts. She is the course leader for assessment and assessment lab and peri-operative elective. Gore has clinical rotations in med-surg, critical care, leadership, and advisor for preceptorship. She has developed a mock hospital setting and instituted clinical simulation on the junior level.
