Overview
Linda Byrd received her undergraduate degrees
in nursing from the University of South Carolina
and Florida State University. She is currently
pursuing doctoral study in Pharmacy Care
Systems at Auburn University with concentration
in patient education and informatics.
Byrd began her career with Auburn University
School of Nursing as a clinical associate
in 1994 in medical surgical, neonatal intensive
care, obstetrics, and psychology. In 2000,
Byrd joined the faculty as Outreach Clinical
Instructor.
Byrd is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, Theta
Delta Chapter, and Chi Eta Phi Nursing Sorority,
Inc. She is an active member of the East
Alabama Nurse Practitioner Group.
