The objective of the course is to learn about healthcare and healthcare administration in Spain by immersing the student totally into the Spanish language and culture. Prior knowledge of Spanish is NOT required. Students are divided into groups according to their proficiency in Spanish. All of the lessons are taught at the Pamplona Learning Spanish Institute by specially trained instructors that are skilled in teaching healthcare topics in Spanish to beginning and more advanced Spanish speaking students. Topics in healthcare include family medicine, health promotional campaigns, research issues in healthcare, emerging innovations in healthcare, health and welfare, and legal issues in healthcare.
