School of Nursing Admission Requirements

Freshman eligibility is determined by the University Admissions Office. For the University application, please visit http://www.auburn.edu/admissions/. High school mathematics, chemistry, and biology courses are strongly recommended, along with other college preparatory courses in the social sciences, history, literature, and English composition.

Transfer students from other institutions must apply through the University Admissions Office. Review of transcripts by the School of Nursing's Academic Advisor will determine the amount of transfer credit allowed for pre-nursing requirements. Students planning to transfer are encouraged to contact the School of Nursing as early as possible. An overall GPA of at least 2.5 is required of students desiring to transfer into the School of Nursing from another curriculum on campus. Transfer credit will not be granted for courses in which a grade less than a C is earned.
