Alpha Kappa Delta
Alpha Kappa Delta is the National Honor Society in Sociology. Membership requires a minimum 3.00 G.P.A. on all Sociology courses, completion of 18 hours in Sociology, at least 10 of which must be earned at Auburn University, completion of SOC 370 - Research Methods or SOC 409 - Social Thought or SOC 502 - Social Theory, submission of an initiation fee, and attendance at a scheduled initiation ceremony. Additional information may be obtained from the Faculty Advisor for AKD in the Department of Sociology.
