Rank: Full-Time Lecturer (9-month) position

Salary: Negotiable

Effective Date of Appointment: Subject to Budgetary Approval

Qualifications: MSW required, Ph.D. in social work or related field, optional. Minimum 2 years field experience and some teaching experience. Knowledge of other MSW programs required. “Candidates must demonstrate interest and competence in teaching and mentoring a diverse student population.”

Responsibilities: Perform 12 units per semester of teaching MSW social work classes. Effective communication in the classroom. Participate on department and college committees as needed. Coordinate with Field Education Faculty.

Deadline: Submit letter of application and curriculum vitae along with three letters of reference. Applications will be accepted starting December 1, 2008. Top priority will be given to applications received before December 31, 2008.
