“Global Dialogue and Deliberation on Climate Change” Wanted:  Apply or Comment Here

During the Research and Practitioner meeting of the Deliberative Democracy Consortium that was held in Washington, D.C. from November 29-December 1st, the subject of “Climate Change” came up repeatedly.  It became clear that this was perhaps the most pressing issue of our time.  And since this group was all about how to make the deliberative democracy movement more relevant and impactful, a small group within it formed and agreed to begin thinking together on how to construct a “Global Dialogue and Deliberation on Climate Change” as quickly as we could.

This section of The Journal of Public Deliberation is now a permanent part of its format.  In this section, we will provide any news we have of our group’s  progress, as well as what else we know is happening around the world that we will consider to be part of an ongoing and growing process of genuine dialogue and  deliberation on the major issue of Climate Change.

Anyone is welcome to email us information, or make comments.
