DDC/PA Coalition meeting at ASPA and Syracuse U

The first step toward the planned DDC Public Administration Coalition will be taken at the upcoming American Society for Public Administration conference in DC. Rosemary O’Leary (Syracuse University), Chris Carlson (Policy Consensus Initiative), John Stephens (University of North Carolina), and Matt Leighninger (Director of the DDC) have been working together to organize this event.

The meeting to formalize this DDC/Public Administration Coalition will be held at Syracuse's Greenberg House from 4-6 on Sunday, March 25th. The idea for the coalition is to help public administration schools and programs meet the rising demand for graduates who have skills in deliberation and citizen involvement. It is designed to provide a forum for professors and directors of graduate programs to compare notes, share new courses and concentrations they are offering, and explore opportunities for further collaboration.
