The Major
in Health Services Administration (HSA)
Quarter Version
Note Well: This is the "old" (quarter) version of the HSA Major, provided
as a service to students who entered the program before Spring of 2000.
Students who entered the program after that should be following the new,
semesterized version.
If you are uncertain of which version you should be following, see your
HA faculty adviser.
A minimum total of 189 quarter hours was required for graduation in this
version of the major.

University minor, or choose to obtain a Certificate of Concentration.
Optional Certificate of Concentration: Minimum 22 hours
Concentrations may be selected with approval of adviser from one of the
following: Finance, Long-Term Care, or other approved area having written
advance approval of student's HA advisor & the Director of the Health
Administration Program. Note that Finance and Long-Term Care are only
two of the possible concentrations; to learn about others, see your
HA adviser. (Courses in this category are in addition to those within
the major; you cannot use HA 532, for example, for both the major
requirement and the certificate requirement.)
