Information on Debra Tennyson

Debra Tennyson holds the Ph.D. in health services administration from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. She joined the HA Program Fall of 2000 and resigned her position with Auburn in August 2003. Her teaching duties at Auburn included HADM 3300, HADM 4100, and HADM 4800.

Dr. Tennyson's areas of interest include finance, business issues, and marketing. She also holds the MBA degree from the University of Alabama. Her dissertation focused on multiinstitutional systems in health care.

Among her publications are articles in the the Proceedings of the Academy of Management and Medical Care Research and Review. She has presented papers at conferences of the Academy of Management.

Dr. Tennyson had worked previously as Interim Director of Graduate Programs at Birmingham Southern College and as Assistant Professor at Florida Invernational University.
