AUPHA acknowledges receipt of the application, indicates the review process will proceed over the summer and early fall, with a decision to be announced in October.

May 10, 1995

The application was assembled in final form and mailed yesterday (Tuesday, May 9) by express mail and should arrive in AUHPA offices by noon today. Copies will soon be available in the offices of all HA faculty for anyone who would like to inspect them.

May 3, 1995

HA faculty meet. Members attending (Burns, Ford, Perry, Spindler) approve draft with some minor revisions. Target date for completion of revisions and mailing to AUPHA: Not later than Tuesday May 9, 1995.

May 1, 1995

First draft of application is prepared. Copies go to all HA faculty and to the current and incoming chairs of Political Science for review and comment. The draft, which fills a medium-sized looseleaf notebook and contains extensive information about courses, faculty, and orientation of the Program, as well as general information about Auburn University, is available in Dr. Burns's office, 7094 Haley, for any who would like to examine it.

HA faculty will meet Wednesday, May 3, to discuss the draft and also to discuss scheduling concerns for the coming academic year.
