Ensembles |
| The Auburn University Percussion Ensemble is a select
group of percussionists including all percussion majors, minors and
non-majors by audition only. Included within the Percussion
Ensemble are the Classical Ensemble, performing literature from
the standard repertoire - Pop Contemporary, performing Latin jazz
transcriptions from such artists as Dave Samuels, Arthur Lipner, Pat
Matheny and Spyro Gyra - Steel Band, performing the music of the Caribbean
and South America - and Marimba Ensemble, performing Ragtime, Guatemalan
and Classical music. The Percussion Ensemble meets three times a
week and presents two concerts each semester. Programs from past
