The Individually Designed Concentration
One of the unique opportunities offered by the English Department is the Individually Designed Concentration. Students, in collaboration with their advisors, can design their own concentrations around special interests or career goals, or they can be designed to enhance an interdisciplinary program. The Individually Designed Concentration encourages creativity and the most enriching education possible.
 The Individually Designed Concentration has offered me the opportunity to pursue my general interest in English language and literature and my specific interests in the realms of the cultures of childhood and youth simultaneously. Because of the flexibility of this concentration, I have been able to take classes that really enhance my personal and career goals.  |
