Lacy Marschalk is a first-year MA student concentrating in creative writing.  In 2005 she graduated from the English and creative writing program at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama, and she spent a year teaching junior high and high school before coming to Auburn.  Lacy specializes in fiction writing and has won several awards for her short stories.  Previously, she worked as an assistant editor for the literary magazine, The Prelude, and as an editor for a chapbook series.   She is studying fiction writing with Judy Troy and working on several short stories.
