End-of-Term Celebration!
Please plan to come to the English Department’s gala end-of-term celebration and potluck dinner Monday, December 9, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Pebble Hill.  Plan to bring either an entree, snack, or dessert, and celebratory cheer!  For those of you who are new to Auburn, Pebble Hill is located on Debardeleben Street between Glenn and Magnolia. It is an historic building that houses the University's Center for the Arts and Humanities. (Go east on Magnolia; Magnolia ends at Pebble Hill.)

To All Great Books Teachers...
After you have administered your final exams, please submit to
Constance Relihan's mailbox the following materials from each section of Great Books that you teach, all clipped together into a nice tidy bundle:

  • a copy of the assignment sheet describing your second paper assignment
  • a copy of the second paper from the EIGHTH student on your role
  • a copy of your final exam questions and ungraded exam from the EIGHTH student on your role

Please note: if you are teaching multiple sections of GB, please submit a copy of the paper assignment sheet and final exam questions with EACH student's work. (E.g., if you teach three sections of ENGL 2200, you should submit three separate packets of materials, each one containing a paper assignment sheet and paper, and the final exam questions and answers).

Please remove all names from papers and assignment sheets to preserve your anonymity and that of your students.  Submit all materials by Monday, December 16.
