Pebble Hill
Program
Caine Campbell will read from his new novel A Reminder of Stones at
Pebble Hill at 4:00 p.m. today (Wednesday, November 20).
Beginning his academic career as a noted historian of the pharmaceutical
profession, Campbell served as associate dean of the College of Liberal Arts
where, among other things, he was instrumental in establishing the college's
honors program. His gift for storytelling found expression in brief stints
on radio and tv and in print journalism.
After retiring from Auburn, Campbell settled in Texas where A Reminder of
Stones, a novel about murder and intrigue, is set.
Ward Allen, professor emeritus of English, will introduce Campbell. A
reception will follow the reading. Copies of A Reminder of Stones
will be available for purchase and signing by the author.
