1. Brown Bag Lunch - October 9, 2002 - "A Conversation with Dr. Wilson Trivino" - 213 Foy Union 11:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

August 2002 Auburn University Ph.D. Graduate in Political Science
, Dr. Trivino is a speaker and writer for ABC Vision, a consulting firm focusing on individuals and organizations. Wilson travels the country writing, lecturing, and consulting for organizations, specifically focusing on leadership, change, and diversity. His experience within the business, political, and educational fields allows him to interact with today's world achievers and share their insights with his audiences.

Wilson is currently working on his new book, "Remembering Your ABCs: A Simple Guide on How to Become a Success and Live the Life YOU want to Lead."

"The Hispanic Contribution Towards the Independence of the United
States of America" from the private collection of Dr. Adalbelio Garcia of Columbus, Georgia. At this exhibition you will be able to appreciate an unknown dimension of Hispanic participation in one of the most relevant acts of American history - the independence of the 13th Colonies.

Dr. Garcia will speak to the public about his collection on
October 17, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. in the Special Collections Department of RBD Library.

4. "Hip-Hop and It Don't Stop" Panel Discussion - October 10, 2002 - Foy Union Ballroom - 7:00 p.m.

Featuring Khao, Darrell from MTV's Road Rules, Kevin Powell from Real World I, Maurice Hobbson, David Lamb, Toni Blackmon, and Dr. J. Emmett Winn. After the forum, there will be live performance by Kolossal from Montgomery, Alabama.
