Judy Troy, Professor and Alumni Writer-in-Residence,
received her MA in creative writing from Indiana University. She specializes
in fiction and was the recipient of a 1996 Whiting Writers' Award.
Her work has appeared in The New Yorker and The New York
Times, as well as in literary journals and anthologies.
She's the author of Mourning Doves, a collection of stories published
by Scribner's in l993; and West of Venus, a novel published by
Random House in l997. Her second novel, From the Black Hills,
was published by Random House in 1999. She is currently working on a third
novel.
