During the course of the past six years at Auburn University, Pierre
Cyr has taught sections of Composition I and II, World Literature I and
II, and Technical Writing. He is presently writing his dissertation,
which seeks to demonstrate the usefulness of Plato’s Symposium,
particularly the concept of eros, for rhetoric and composition studies.
Cyr is also serving as the Instructor Representative on the Technical
and Professional Communication Committee this year.
