Many areas in our county are still without power, telephones, water ... We really, really appreciate all the donations and voluntarism from neighboring states and other parts of the country. Keep the faith!

Hello to all at AU English Department.
(September 2005)

After a (very) brief stint as a public school teacher, I opted to start a business -- I am the president of Mississippi Aerospace Corporation, located in Picayune, MS. I employ a talented pool of engineers on whose skills I rely heavily for design and drafting purposes, while I design and format the tech manuals, reports, etc., that are required to provide complete documentation packages to our customers. (I am picking up a few AutoCad skills, too.) I am also learning how to write proposals and grants in order to bid government contracts. MAC is currently working on an engineering project for a South American air force, and we are pursuing other projects as well.
