Science Without Borders

Auburn University is honored to accept excellent students from the Brazil Science Without Borders Program. Science Without Borders provides scholarships, funded by the Brazilian government, to undergraduate and graduate students from Brazil to study at universities in the U.S.

Undergraduate Students

Students applying to Auburn for a one-year term at the undergraduate level through Science Without Borders must provide the following for consideration:

  • A completed, printed copy of the Common Application (Click Download Forms and select Complete Transfer Application Packet.)
  • Scores from the TOEFL or IELTS
  • A transcript, with translation, of all college coursework and grades
  • Teacher recommendations

Graduate Students

Students applying to Auburn for the doctoral sandwich program through Science Without Borders must provide the following for consideration:

  • A completed Graduate School Transient Student Application, approved by your home institution
  • Official TOEFL or IELTS scores
  • A cover letter indicating affiliation with the Science Without Borders program
