Our goal for this program is to help our international students become more confident in their English-speaking skills, and thereby more comfortable engaging with campus life, while also increasing our domestic students’ interaction with the international student population.
International students interested in taking advantage of this service can purchase their peer-to-peer conversational English practice in 30-minute increments with a cap of 90 minutes per session. The cost per 30-minute session is $12.50 of which the Office of International Programs will cover 80%, leaving students to pay just $2.50. The financial support provided by the Office of International Programs is capped at $20,000 for the first year. Therefore, students interested in utilizing the program are encouraged to register now, before the cap is reached.
