We are so excited that you have chosen to become a part of the Auburn University family! Upon your arrival here on campus and before you begin your employment, all non-immigrant regular employees (i.e. faculty and staff) need to stop by our office in 201 Hargis Hall to fill out two forms for us and for us to assist you with insurance, social security, and driver's license questions. Please bring all of your documents with you at this time. If you are a J-1 or F-1 visa holder, you will need to bring all of your family members and their documents as well. At this time, we will also direct you to the people who can advise you of any income tax questions that are unique to foreign nationals. For lawful permanent residents, or those persons with pending permanent residencies, we would like to also meet you and make you aware of any services that we may have to assist you or family members. If you are a student who will be receiving a paycheck, or if you are on OPT/CPT and will be paid by the University, you will need to fill out some of your employment related forms here in this office after your SEVIS check-in and before you leave our office. This will expedite the procedures for getting your paycheck at the earliest possible date.
