AU Estimated Cost of Attendance The following table provides the estimated
cost of attendance at Auburn University and is based on the cost for
non-resident students as determined by the Office of Financial Aid. Auburn University policies require that ALL foreign students seeking admission into a degree program show proof of financial support for themselves AND their dependents which covers the cost of tuition and fees, housing and food, books and supplies, personal items, transportation, and health insurance for a minimum of 9 months. Admission will not be granted if this proof of financial support is not provided.
ACCOMPANYING SPOUSES REQUIRE AN ADDITIONAL $4,850 PER
YEAR. (1) These costs are estimates as of October 14, 2008 and subject to change without notice. They do not include travel expenses. (2) Cost figures include tuition expenses for Fall and Spring semesters (9 months) and living expenses for 12 months. Tuition for summer semester is $9,191 for undergraduate and $8,438 for graduate studies. (3) Students receiving Auburn University research or teaching assistantships do not pay most University fees, and receive a partial health insurance subsidy. This could reduce their total cost per calendar year up to $24,171. These assistantships are highly competitive. (4) Auburn University health and sickness insurance is mandatory for all foreign national students and their dependents. Graduate students on assistantship receive a $250 per semester insurance subsidy. Created 01/06/2006, rev. 10/15/2009 04:20:26 PM |
