It takes a few seconds every time I wake to actually realize that I am in Paris every morning.  I feel like I’m in a constant dream that I never come out of.  Going to class for 6 hours a day is actually enjoyable for the first time in my life. To get class credit for visiting couture houses like Christian Lacroix and then actually being able to meet Sonia Rykiel are the easiest hours I have ever received in my life. Not only am I learning what I love, but I am also in an atmosphere completely different from what I am accustomed to. This once frightening situation has turned into an experience that words can never describe. I am so happy to be able to walk everywhere and be surrounded by the most beautiful buildings and monuments in the world. To never see a low-carb ad and eat as much bread as I want and not feel guilty is also heavenly. Theses experiences not only affect me now, but will also have a lasting effect on the rest of my life. The exposure to diverse people and a different culture have made me appreciate others countries and treasure my own. I have to admit though, I will be happy to return to a country of free diet coke refills and TCBY.
