As a Global Tiger you have a special connection to the Auburn Abroad program because of the experiences you encountered and the life lessons you learned while living and studying abroad. The biggest impact you can make is to speak with prospective students and student groups about your study abroad experience.

The two main focuses of the GTPA are to provide support to the Auburn Abroad office by assisting with recruiting efforts and to be peer advisors to “prospective” study abroad participants. Our very best tool in helping students understand the importance of studying abroad comes directly from the GTPA. GTPA members volunteer their time by attending the Study Abroad Fair, War Eagle Days, Camp War Eagle Days, TALONS Days, and speaking to various campus organizations. They are also available to speak or email with prospective students who might have questions about any specifics involving studying abroad.
