This priest was sighted sitting outside a rock church that was carved in the sixth century. These churches are known to be one of the tenth wonders of the world for their unique beauty.

While standing in front of the Ponte Sant’ Angelo, I caught myself staring as a cleaning crew carefully cleaned the beautiful Bernini sculptures that line Rome’s oldest bridge.  Rarely had we seen any sculptures as they were being cleaned.  I thought it was quite beautiful the way the woman and the angel stood so tall in the stormy sky in a wonderful “face-off”.

I’m taking a break from painting outside a small church in Olimbos.  Each day, my fellow students and I found our own painting spots and spent the day working on various scenes.  The painting on the wall is of the neighboring farming town, Avlona.

Every night the Parliament building and Big Ben are beautifully lit. The picture was taken from a quiet path on the opposite side of the Thames River. I enjoyed going there to relax with my friends and enjoy the views.
