Photo Contest Winners - 2006

This was a 30 second exposure of Big Ben at about 12:30 am.  During the shot, a red double-decker bus passed by creating the streaks.  The bright lights of London cast a reddish glow against the cloudy sky, which was amplified due to the long exposure.

Some children were following this cat as it walked around in Shimo-takaido.  So, when the cat stopped, the children did too.

While touring around Lisbon, my friends and I came across the Monument to he Discoveries, which was built to honor the 500th anniversary of the death of Henry the Navigator.  Some of my friends were fooling around and mimicking the figures in the monument, and it turned out to be a fantastic photo.  I love this picture because I felt like it made us a part of the history.

I took this picture on our way to Greve in Chianti. Chianti (Tuscany) is the most popular wine region in Italy, and possibly the world.  I took this picture of the never ending grape vines to not only express the Italian's appreciation for wine, but to show that Italy is beautiful even in winter.
