All Auburn Programs
will receive direct Auburn credit: - Grades and credit
listed directly on your Auburn Transcript -
Grades counted toward your GPA.
- All courses and equivalents are preapproved by AU Dept. Chairs on the Auburn Abroad Course Approval form.
- Upon return, Transcript goes to Auburn Abroad for processing before going to registrar
- Scholarships/ financial aid can be applied directly to program fees through Bursar Account.
All Non-AU programs will receive Transient credit:
- Starting Summer 2012, transient credit is the only type of credit you can bring back from other university or affiliate programs.
- Courses will be listed on your Unofficial Transcript – Grades do not count toward your GPA
- Decision regarding transient/ substitution courses will be made by registrar and academic department. You can assist the process by completing a new “International Transient Credit form” (form is currently being developed).
- Upon return, bring study abroad transcript(s) to the registrar.
- If scholarships or financial aid is needed, student must work with Auburn Abroad staff so that they can enroll in Auburn Abroad (full time placeholder course) and fill out appropriate forms.
