Auburn Abroad hosting Study Abroad Fair Oct. 30

AUBURN, Ala. – The Study Abroad Fair will be held on Wednesday, October 30 from 10 am to 3 pm in the Student Center Ballroom. Auburn Abroad encourages students interested in studying and/or interning abroad to attend the event, and because it is almost Halloween the first 100 attendees will receive a trick-or-treat bag.

“The Study Abroad Fair provides students with the opportunity to explore the immense amount of international opportunities offered at Auburn University,” said Deborah Weiss, director of Auburn Abroad.

There will be over 20 exhibitors representing Auburn University colleges/departments and 14 affiliate program providers/universities at the event. Also, two non-governmental organizations will be in attendance: Peace Corps and the United States State Department. Attendees will be able to speak with representatives from the various study abroad programs, hear personal testimonies from previous participants, learn about scholarship possibilities, and enter in a raffle to win prizes.

In addition, passport applications and assistance will be offered at the event. Photographic Services will offer special walk-in hours for passport photos at their location in Foy Hall.

Visit the Auburn Abroad website for more information on Auburn Abroad and to apply for a study abroad program.
