Spaces Available at Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies Seminar March 17-18

As part of the Year of the Middle East and North Africa, the Auburn University Office of International Programs has partnered with the Southeast Regional Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies Seminar to open spaces in their spring meeting to the public March 16-18 in Foy Hall 246.

SERMEISS is a professional society for faculty from various fields whose common connection is the study or teaching of some aspect of the Middle East or Muslim world. The spring seminar will include lectures on a wide variety of subjects both historical and contemporary ranging from women's issues to teaching Arabic to adult learners. While membership and paid registration is usually required, OIP has partnered with SERMEISS to open a limited number of free spaces in each lecture for interested students, faculty, staff and community members. To view the complete lecture schedule and reserve your space, please visit this form. While registration is free to the public, you must reserve in advance. For questions, please contact Jenn Mason.
