Korea Center-King Sejong Institute hosting Korea Fest at Auburn CityFest

AUBURN, Ala. – The Korea Center-King Sejong Institute in the Office of International Programs is hosting Korea Fest at Auburn CityFest on Saturday, April 27 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Kiesel Park. The event is free and open to the public.

Korea Fest will include several arts and crafts exhibitions and activities such as calligraphy, a Hanbok photo booth and traditional Korean games. Also, the event will offer attendees the opportunity to take in live musical and dance performances starting at 11 a.m. with a traditional Korean drum and fan dance followed by a number of K-Pop dances performed by the winners of this year’s K-Pop Party—a Korean pop music contest.

“The Korea Center-King Sejong Institute is proud to offer the Auburn community with an avenue to better understand and connect with Auburn’s growing Korean and Korean-American population through cultural events such as Korea Fest,” said Ellie Lee, Korea Center-King Sejong Institute coordinator.
