OIP to Host Immigration 101 Discussion for U.S. Citizens

With immigration at the forefront of media coverage in recent weeks, the Office of International Programs aims to help U.S. faculty, staff and students better understand the immigration process for international students at both the federal and institutional level. Immigration 101, a brown-bag lunch discussion, will be held Friday, March 24 from noon to 1 p.m. in Foy Hall 208. Obrad Budic, director of International Student and Scholar Services at Auburn, will lead an interactive and informative discussion on the immigration process as it relates to university students entering the United States. Attendees are asked to bring their own lunches. Soft drinks and dessert will be provided. This event is open to anyone who wishes to better understand student immigration. Please contact Jenn Mason, director of international initiatives, at jlm0061@auburn.edu with any questions.
