New Members Inducted to Global Teaching Academy

The Office of International Programs selected the 2015 inductees to the Global Teaching Academy, an on-campus organization dedicated to recognizing and encouraging exceptional teaching in an international context. This year’s class includes:

  • Valentina Hartarska, professor of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology and professor of Finance See more
  • Scott Kramer, professor of Building Science See more
  • Zdenko Krtic, associate professor of Art See more
  • Christopher Shook, Russell Professor and chair of Management See more

The Global Teaching Academy will facilitate international course offerings on campus, complementing the recent growth of study abroad courses and exchange programs offered overseas. The Academy will also assist in creating an International minor for those students not currently served by an international concentration within their disciplines. Members will also be inducted into the Phi Beta Delta Honorary Society for International Scholars.
